Four generations endorse the good track record of Bodegues Miquel
Oliver
Pioneer in their field, it was the first winery on the Island to
introduce important changes and improvements at an enological level,
such as its stainless steel containers and its refrigeration facilities
for a better control of the fermentation of its wines. The result
of all these innovations was the Baco de Bronce won by its Son Calò
Rosat. A fresh, fruity and expressive wine that will surely delight
you.
It
was also the first bodega in our country to market a dry Muscatel,
an original and different wine. In addition to being the first to
bring an important number of awards, on a national level to Mallorca.
Its innumerable
prizes as well as the high scores obtained in leading wine guides,
such as its 90 points in the Guía Peñin 2005, its
Silver award in the Guía de Oro de los Vinos de España
2005, and its three clusters in the El Pais Anuario 2005, confirm
the excellent quality of its wines, not only for their organoleptic
characteristics but also for their singularity and their unbeatable
price quality ratio, thus ensuring the complete satisfaction of
all those who drink them.
Not
content with their achievements to date, Jaume and Pilar, the new
blood brought into the bodega, intend to concentrate their efforts
on continuing to work hard on the quality of their wines. Their
Ses Ferriges, Aia and Mont Ferrutx wines are an obvious example
of the important work being carried out in their vineyards. Great
wines with really exceptional characteristics, and with abundant
personality: all under the auspices of the new and promising Pla
i Llevant de Mallorca denomination of origin.
Exhaustive
control of their wine as well as the new research projects in the
winery mean that their main proposal is to surprise us, year after
year, with new and daring labels.
